On November 1, 2018, the Arthritis Foundation will host its annual Champion of Yes Tribute Dinner Honoring Michelle Sourie Robinson, President, and Chief Executive Officer, of the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council (MMSDC). The event will take place at the Dearborn Inn and will include cocktails, silent auction and dinner.
Arthritis is the leading cause of disability in the United States. In Michigan, arthritis affects one in four adults, imposes work limitations on one-third of our working-age citizens, increasingly affects retirees and costs the state $6 billion annually. Additionally, there are more than 10,000 children in Michigan contending with the pain and challenges of arthritis – surprisingly this is more children than those with juvenile diabetes and cystic fibrosis combined.
In addition to a great evening of camaraderie and inspiration with honoree Michelle Sourie Robinson, the Tribute to Excellence – Champion of Yes, has another very important purpose: raising money to fund research, heighten awareness and expand the portfolio of important services the Arthritis Foundation offers to aid in the prevention, control, and cure of this debilitating disease. Together, we make a difference.
We hope you will consider supporting the 2018 Champion of Yes Tribute Dinner.
