Please register today for the next MAGMA Advisory Council meeting, scheduled for Friday, 12/15, from 8:30-11AM. The gathering will be hosted by Macomb Community College at the John Lewis Conference Center.
MAGMA Governing Board members, including GM, Ford, FCA, BorgWarner, Robert Bosch, MAHLE, and GKN Driveline, have identified these new short course training programs as a key industry need. The audience will have an opportunity to engage with selected training providers of the MAGMA Short Courses as they give give an overview of the courses that will be offered.
We encourage those receiving this email to bring a HR and technical hiring decision maker from your organization to this meeting so that questions they may have can be answered by the provider. Forward this email to your colleagues as necessary.
Joe Petrosky, Dean of Engineering and Advanced Technology at Macomb Community College, will give opening remarks followed by Robert Feldmaier, Director of Center for Advanced Automotive Technology (CAAT) at Macomb Community College, who will give an update on current and future CAAT activities.
David Palmer, Director of Business Partnerships at the Workforce Intelligence Network (WIN), will also give a brief regional labor market overview.
