MentorMe: Construction

**MentorMe Construction Application Process Officially Closed**

Industry Focus – Construction

We are excited to announce a new MentorMe program focusing on MBEs in the construction and construction related services industries.

MentorMe: Construction is an exciting program for certified MBEs of the construction and related services industries to advance and develop their business through Senior Corporate Executive mentoring.  Through MentorMe: Construction, MBEs will have the opportunity to discuss and receive feedback on their business in addition to enhancing their leadership and communication skills.

In the program, high potential MBEs will be partnered with a team of Senior Leaders from Barton Malow.  The MBE and Barton Malow Mentor Team will assess the MBE’s business, evaluate real-time organization challenges/situations and discuss the future of the MBE’s business.

During the application process, MBEs in the Construction and related services industries will be asked to share current business challenges and three areas of interest so that the best and most appropriate Barton Malow Mentors can be selected and matched to their organization. The skill areas available for selection are:

    • Business Development/Sales
    • Communications
    • Construction Management
    • Finance
    • Human Resources
    • Information Technology
    • Lean
    • Legal
    • Marketing
    • Pre-Construction
    • Safety
    • Quality

All selected MentorMe: Construction MBEs will need to submit a business presentation prior to the MentorMe session. This presentation will allow the Mentors to research, understand and prepare for the Mentoring session.  MBEs will receive further instruction on this requirement once notified of their successful placement in the program.

MentorMe: Construction is an intimate and bespoke program with only a limited number of spaces available. If you think this program is for you and to ensure top consideration, please complete the online application below with as much information as possible and use specific examples to support your position.
