Corporate Nomination Form MMSDC Board of Directors 2020-2021

Nomination forms must be completed in full, and must include the nominee’s name, company and zip code (where applicable). Self-nominations are permitted. Please refer to attached document for position requirements. Failure to provide all information, including the signature of the person making the nomination AND the date will nullify the nomination. Regional representatives’ zip codes must be included on the nomination form. (West Michigan Region 490–, 491–, 493–, 497–)

You can nominate up to five (5) at-large companies, one (1) regional West Michigan company. There are no vacancies in the Mid-Michigan region this term.





Nominations have closed and all nominees will be notified via email by the close of business on Wednesday, October 16.




2020 Election Timeline:

Monday, September 30th Nomination forms were emailed to all eligible MBEs and Corporate Members for the Board of Directors and MBEIC Officer nominations

Monday, October 14th Deadline for submitting nominations, no exceptions

Wednesday, October 16th Nominees will be notified that they received a nomination and will be asked to formally accept the nomination

Wednesday, October 23rd Deadline to accept nominations

Wednesday, November 6th Voting opens, all eligible MBEs and Corporate Members will receive a PIN number allowing them to submit their vote

Wednesday, November 12th Deadline for casting votes, no exceptions

Tuesday, December 3rd BOD to ratify the results of the election

Wednesday, December 4th Press statement with election results to be released, winners will be notified and letters will be sent to those who were not elected.

All MBEs in good standing are eligible to nominate and vote for the vacant MBE seats on the Board of Directors and nominate and vote for the MBEIC Officers.

All Corporate Members in good standing are eligible to nominate and vote for the vacant Corporate Member seats on the Board of Directors.
