Entrepreneurs have a tendency of working “in the business” versus “on the business”.  In other words, business owners get bogged down by the daily operational details and don’t necessarily think about the “big picture” and how it might impact their potential for growth.

The market continues to evolve, change and become more competitive.  It’s more diverse, consumer-centric and demanding.  While B2B remains critical and is crucial to the company’s overall business plan, communicating directly to consumers is essential to an organization’s success.  Consumers are more discerning; want to be communicated to on their terms and will more likely respond to relevant messaging and vehicles.

This highly-interactive session will focus on the strategic planning process and its impact on growth.  Case studies are an excellent way to engage in the learning process.  This session will use case(s) for discussion, analysis and ultimately presentations.  Not only will they connect to the central topic, teams will develop relevant and practical recommendations which will be actionable.  This interactive session will enhance the learning experience.

Seminar Presenter

markleeMark S. Lee, a Detroit native, is President & CEO, The LEE Group (TLG), MI LLC, an independent integrated marketing consulting firm focused on providing marketing, branding and communication solutions to clients. Additionally, TLG provides training & development to organizations in the areas of branding, re-branding and communications and has advised on how to effectively implement in an integrated fashion.

 

He is the former Vice President of Brand Development and Marketing Communications at Florida Blue, Florida’s Blue Cross Blue Shield plan, where he was responsible for leading the company’s brand initiatives, marketing communications and the development and implementation of promotional programs focused on supporting strategic priorities. Prior, Mr. Lee held senior-marketing leadership roles with nationally known companies across the country including, PepsiCo, The Auto Club Group (AAA), et. al.
