Each of the 10 entrepreneurs in residence will receive a stipend of $40,000 and receive a wide range of coaching on how to take their companies to the next level.
The Detroit entrepreneur will have a work space in Grand Circus’ downtown headquarters, will receive mentoring and get a free trip to the Googleplex complex in Silicon Valley.
Applicants for the Grand Circus position must have been residents of the city of Detroit for one year and be the founder, CEO or ultimate decision-maker of a for-profit early-stage technology company.
They must also commit to work full time on their venture in 2016, and be committed to impacting the racial, ethnic and gender demographics of the local tech community.
The deadline to apply is Jan. 11, with in-person interviews Feb. 5-19 and the final selection announced in March.
