The MBEIC serves as the liaison between the Council’s corporate members and the voice of the MBE community.

The Minority Business Enterprise Input Committee (MBEIC) is a standing committee of the MMSDC Board of Directors.

The MBEIC comprised of certified MBEs and organized to foster input on issues affecting minority owned businesses, industry trends, and to create MBE to MBE alliances aligned with corporate industry groups (CIG), the council’s programs and activities in support of same.

Purpose

MBEIC Industry Groups are created to:

  • Create a forum for certified MBEs to leverage, streamline, and engage in interactions between businesses within an industry, and share pivotal industry and market trends
  • Promote the development of stronger “ready now” MBE firms that align with actual needs via MBE Development programs and other educational opportunities
  • Drive MBE to MBE spend
  • Facilitate activity that leads to business opportunities for “ready now” firms, whether MBE to MBE or MBE to Corporate Member
