The Funding Floor

The Capital Funding Pavilion—home of the Funding Floor—is a purpose-built marketplace where businesses move from questions to capital-ready action.

This is where businesses meet directly with lenders, investors, technical assistance providers, tax professionals, and credit experts—all in one place, on one day.

Every activation inside the pavilion supports a clear Capital Journey: Education → Readiness → Connection → Funding

Ask Dolores: Real Conversations About Capital

Ask Dolores features live, on-floor interviews with financial leaders and practitioners who break down what capital readiness really looks like.

Through real stories and direct conversation, this activation:

  • Demystifies funding expectations
  • Makes capital access feel approachable and achievable
  • Helps businesses see themselves in the journey

IRS Booth: Tax & Compliance Central

The IRS Booth provides direct access to verified tax resources and experts who help attendees understand:

    • How tax compliance impacts funding eligibility
    • What lenders and investors review first
    • How to prepare financial records and documentation
    • Which tax credits and opportunities may apply

This station removes uncertainty around one of the most common barriers to capital.

Credit Readiness & Repair Hub

This hub helps businesses strengthen the foundation lenders evaluate first: credit—both business and personal.
Attendees receive:

    • On-the-spot credit snapshots
    • Personalized action plans
    • Lists of vendor accounts that report to business credit bureaus

The goal is clarity, not judgment—so businesses leave knowing exactly what to fix and how.

Loan Request Station: Apply for Capital

This is where preparation turns into action.

At the Loan Request Station, lenders accept:

  • Pre-applications
  • Funding inquiries
  • Direct follow-up meeting requests

Participants don’t just learn about funding—they leave with a clear path forward and named next steps.

Lender & Technical Assistance Speed Dating

Meet the Money Matchmakers

One of the most high-impact experiences on the Funding Floor.

In structured, 10-minute sessions, attendees meet directly with:

  • Banks
  • CDFIs
  • Technical assistance providers

By the end of the experience, businesses walk away with:

  • Matched funding options
  • Clarity on fit and requirements
  • Clear next steps toward capital
