CITY OF DETROIT MIKE DUGGAN ANNOUNCEMENT FOR REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR DWSD CONTRACT NO. CS-1815 STORM WATER DRAINAGE AND GREEN CREDIT PROGRAM STAFF ASSISTANCE
The Detroit Water and Sewerage Department (DWSD) requests written proposals from firms or project teams to provide personnel services to DWSD’s Customer Service Division to provide support to the DWSD Customer Service Division’s Call Center and Back Office.
The duration of this contract is Eighteen (18) months, and DWSD anticipates to award a maximum of $750,000.00 of work under this contract. However, services performed under this contract will be used at DWSD’s sole discretion, and the existence of a contract shall not obligate DWSD in any way relative to the extent or dollar value of services requested.
These services will be required at DWSD’s Central Services Facility, 6425 Huber Avenue, Detroit, Michigan 48211.
In general, the Contract No. CS-1815 consultant will be required to provide comprehensive support and assistance to the DWSD’s Customer Service Division by providing experienced personnel qualified to assist DWSD in processing telephone requests for service from customers who are inquiring on their accounts.
Provide a verbal explanation of the account billing information, prepare the mailing of collateral material and/or initiate the formal review (dispute) process for the residential or non-residential storm water accounts.
The second objective is to review and process the corrections of residential and non-residential storm water drainage accounts.
Proposals will be accepted by DWSD from firms or project teams demonstrating a minimum of three (3) years experience in providing personnel support services. Beginning Wednesday, September 14, 2016, a Request for Proposals (RFP) will be available on the Michigan Inter-Governmental Trade Network (MITN) website at www.mitn.info. Both Technical and Cost proposals must be uploaded to the MITN website at www.mitn.info. The MITN website has a limitation of 32 megabytes per file. If your file exceeds 32 megabytes, please submit additional files. Cost proposals must be submitted in a separate PDF file labeled COSTING PROPOSAL. No fax or email copies of the proposals will be accepted.
Both the technical and cost proposals are due at 12:00 noon, Eastern Standard Time, Friday, October 14, 2016. No late proposals will be accepted.
