Deactivation and Remediation Services at Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant

The U.S. Department of Energy is seeking a contractor to provide deactivation and remediation services at the Paducah Site. The goal of the deactivation and remediation activities is to reduce risk and accelerating reduction in long-term surveillance and maintenance costs and future demolition costs.  The deactivation and remediation services to be acquired will be performed at the Paducah Site in Kentucky.  For additional information please click here.

Upcoming Acquisition at Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant, Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant, and Depleted Uranium Hexafluoride Conversion Project

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is currently planning a competitive follow-on acquisition to continue technical support services to support the oversight and management of the clean-up activities at the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant (GDP)/site in Pike County, OH; the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant/site in Paducah, KY; the Depleted Uranium Hexafluoride Conversion Project (DUF6) in Pike County, OH and Paducah, KY; and to provide various technical engineering functions, information technology infrastructure support, safeguards and security oversight, and general administrative support at the Portsmouth Paducah Project Office, in Lexington, KY.  The new contract(s) resulting from this acquisition will replace three existing contracts providing the same services that expire in Calendar Year 2018.
