What is your role and how do you feel you support MMSDC Constituents . What issues should MMSDC constituents take to you?

My role is to connect with corporations & MBEs, understand their needs and serve as a conduit to opportunity for both institutions. My role is having a pulse on current market conditions and being able to advise to serve our corporate and mbe constituents. Our constituents should bring current/future goals, specific challenges they face (i.e. training, mentoring, introductions and/or sourcing challenges).


Your path to your current position at MMSDC?

Prior to coming to the Council I worked for a management consultant group (DWH) for about 10 years, before that I worked in business development/sales for a fortune 500 (Pitney Bowes) for 10 years. Managed a property management company. Worked in Insurance industry for 3 years. I’ve owned several businesses (solely, minority & majority) over the last 20 years.


Why do you choose to work at MMSDC?

I choose to work at the Council because it’s a rare opportunity where the mission and my person passion intersects/aligns. Simply, I care about the work I do.


What are your outside of MMSDC hobbies or passion projects?

I like reflecting on life and it’s purpose and value!(deep) I enjoy nature by playing golf, concerts, fishing and traveling with friends and family!
